almost a tonne, I decided not to become a sculptor.†Birgit
Ramsauer (born 1962). For that reason, the well-travelled
performance artist has devoted herself for the last few years
to »acoustic art« (imaginary art). In the tradition of American
and German performance art she intervenes in unfamiliar contexts
and records the random actions that people unconsciously
leave behind. In the Pavilion, visitors are invited on an imaginary
journey into a world that changes as they listen and creates
sculptures in their minds.
