Within the festival "INSIDEOUT" the performance/installation "People Drawing" takes place at the first floor of Reinhardsbunker. It was built by the architect Albert Speer during the Second Wold War. At the end of the war 1945 this bunker was located in the Eastern part of Berlin. It was used as a storage of cans and exotic fruits for the upper class. After the wall the House scene installed a disco and the Reinhardsbunker became the center of the scene. Members from all over Germany came to meet there, to talke drugs and to dance. The neighbours continously protested and succeeded after years. So it is now to be converted into a cultural center after being renovated and newly organized by an architect. Before this happens the festival "INSIDEOUT" took place in the bunker/ disco.

My inspiration was the mixed athosphere of a former bunker and a former disco. I choose a space with silver folie layers at the wall and the ceiling. This room exits into many other spaces. This forms it into a "non-room", including the wholes for technical equipment all over.

Within five days I had the visitors perform. I taped the parts of body and clothes of the visitors which actually touch the surface of walls, ceiling or floor. The fluorescent tape drawing of the people turned into an installation drawing, the more lines criss crossed at the surfaces.

A video version of the performance on TV from Sabine LInse and the drawing installation remained till the end of the exhibition.
